The fact that a whole year of university is finished is crazy to think about. This time last year we were trying to figure out where we would end up, what school we would go to, what program we would be in and now we are one step closer to having a degree. This year has been an intense one, trying to balance school while still making time for all the other activities Dalhousie has to offer posed a bit of a challenge at first but it was all worth it in the end. The friends I have met this far are amazing and as excited as I am to be home I look forward to heading back to Dalhousie in September and beginning my second year towards my biochemistry degree. The Schulich Leader Scholarship has helped to give me this opportunity and I am loving every second of it.
