University has surpassed all expectations – I feel challenged and satisfied in my classes, I’ve met fantastic people, I’ve been able to keep active and I wake up each morning feeling one day closer to being an astronaut.

Highlight of the semester was joining a team conducting research in photonics. My project is using Arduino and Labview to automate basic functions in the optics lab.
