This semester was definitely an interesting one

This semester was definitely an interesting one! In addition to gaining a deeper understanding of the core concepts of Chemistry that are essential to my field of education, I also learned a great deal from my Statistics, Psychology and Philosophy courses.
On the side, this semester I was involved once again in co-organizing a social justice leadership conference for high school students of the province called Radhoc. It was attended by 60 driven and passionate “champions”. The fulfillment I get from getting to know and sharing knowledge with these bright individuals never fades.
I was also chosen for an ambassador position at the university through the leadership program titled, Memorial Ambassadors. This program will allow me to represent Memorial at various events and ceremonies. It will also be a great opportunity for me to network with worthy individuals.
I have also enrolled in the Global Leadership Certificate course at Memorial. It is a 12 week program with weekly meetings which consist of workshops, talks and activities to gain skills and fresh perspective on my role in systemic change for long term global sustainability.
In my courses, I now found myself hunting for potential avenues for research. All in all, a great semester just passed and I look forward to next one!
