What is a little known fact about you?
I am forever inspired by science, but I find my courage in words. Poems, essays, stories and all other things made of language are as important to me as quarks, the Purkinje fibers and Le Châtelier’s principle.
Why do you think you make a great Schulich Leader? 
I’ve always been someone who cares – someone who runs on passionate indignation and an inescapable desire to understand. The key, I think, is to care freely about everything that passions you, and to cultivate an unbridled and pigheaded sense of curiosity about the world and all its beings and your place among them. I don’t know that I’m a “great” anything yet – I’m only just beginning, after all. But I care, and I wonder, and I think maybe great things are inevitable once you’ve resigned yourself to that. You just have to decide to try.
