Rounding out the class of 2016 Schulich Leaders with Queen's University and Memorial University!

Queen’s University, a top five university in terms of drawing the highest number of Schulich Leader Nominee applications for the second year in a row has recently finalized their four scholarship recipients. Jessie Payne from Central Huron Secondary School in Clinton, Ontario will be pursuing a Bachlor of Science. Joining Jessie in the Faculty of Science is the first ever candidate from the Yukon Territories, Jaedyn Smith, a graduating student of Porter Creek Secondary School in Whitehorse. Isabel Hazan from TanenbaumCHAT Wallenburg Campus will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Rebecca Balcom will also be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. She is a graduating student of Horton High School in Wolfville, NS. 

Memorial University of Newfoundland solidified their 2016 Schulich Leaders with Mackenzie Grace of Stella Maris Academy in Trepassy, Newfoundland pursuing a Bachelor of Science, while Julie Young from Bay D’espoir Academy in Milltown, Newfoundland will be studying Engineering.

All six candidates were nominated from high schools that have produced Schulich Leaders for the first time in our program’s history!
