When I was hustling away with my university and scholarship applications, I remember wondering “How great would it be if I could hear about a past scholarship recipient’s experience, or have the opportunity to chat with all these high achieving scholars”.

This was the thought that motivated me to found Young Scholar, a community resource dedicated to helping students prepare their applications for scholarships and admission to post-secondary institutions and professional schools.

At Young Scholar, we host an annual seminar where attendees could gain the following:

• Application and interview tips from national scholarship recipients

• How to write a successful application essay with real examples

• Prestigious professional school students’ advice on admissions

• Advice on how to build your profile to stand out from the crowd

• Networking and Q&A session with our guest speakers

Those who are strongly recommended to attend
